Using Homellery
You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and use the platform only for lawful rental activity in Ghana. Accounts found listing properties they do not own or control are suspended.
Tenant charges
Homellery is free for tenants. Searching listings, creating an account, signing a lease, paying rent, downloading receipts and reporting maintenance carry no platform fee. Tenants pay only the rent, deposit and charges agreed with their landlord, plus any charge levied by their own mobile money or card provider.
Landlord commission
Landlords and property managers pay a platform commission on successful rent collections, starting at 3%. The commission is configurable by Homellery, is always displayed before you collect, and is deducted automatically at settlement. No rent collected means no commission.
Promotions and listings
Publishing a property is free. Optional promotions such as Featured Property, Homepage Spotlight, District Spotlight and Premium Listing are paid from your wallet at the price shown at checkout, and expire automatically at the end of their term.
Payouts
Collected rent settles into your Homellery wallet. Withdrawals are paid to a verified bank account or Mobile Money wallet after review. We may hold a payout where fraud, chargeback or verification concerns exist.
Verification
Identity and property verification is required for certain actions. Submitting false or altered documents results in permanent removal from the platform and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
Disputes
Homellery provides the platform and records of what happened; the tenancy contract remains between landlord and tenant. We assist with evidence such as payment ledgers, receipts and maintenance histories during a dispute.
